Get Ready! YTGB is headed back to Nicaragua!

While summer was being enjoyed by everyone, Yorkton and Area Teacher Give Back was busy starting to plan their return trip to Granada, Nicaragua. The group has maintained a relationship and contact with the organization over the past year, and are ready to head back and continue working with La Esperanza to promote growth and change in some of their most in need communities.

During the summer of 2016, we went to Granada and built a home for a family that was chosen by La Esperanza Granada (the organization we worked with). At that time, the group consisted of 3 Yorkton teachers. Now, the group has expanded and we are bringing along more people!

Over the next month, the group will be meeting to decide on a project that they will take on. Stay tuned for opportunities to come out and support the group!
